Signature Member of American Society of Marine Artists

Nine for a Kiss, egg tempera painting
I am pleased to announce that I have been elected a Signature Member of the American Society of Marine Artists.
My egg tempera painting, Nine for a Kiss, was one of 12 paintings the Board members and Fellowship reviewed for my application.
Founded over 40 years ago, ASMA is the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit organization dedicated to marine art. The Society maintains a registry for artists, publishes catalogs, and holds national exhibits in prestigious museums to promote the study and improvement of American marine art.
They also have a scholarship program, Young Marine Artists, created to nurture and support young artists interested in maritime subjects.
Currently, they are planning an international online exhibition with mutual societies in Australia, Canada and Europe.
More information about the society can be found at American Society of Marine Artists website.
