It’s shaking out to be a busy year. I’ve been remiss in updating my event page and wanted to share a few items with you. And also, clarify my subscription feeds.
A prestigious art gallery will be representing my egg tempera Florida landscapes. The gallery director has a reputable standing in the art world and represents many of the finest painters in the country. More news in future posts.
Hughes Gallery recently secured a large commission of a fly-fishing scene for a collector in Chicago.
Crossnore Gallery solo show, titled North of the 35th Parallel opens July 17th. What I love about this gallery is that proceeds from the art sales directly fund the children of Crossnore School through the Stepping Stones program. The gallery’s Facebook page.

For those of you would like to keep current on my work and whereabouts, I have 2 subscription options on my blog.
1. Ambrose Art Journal is a newsletter that I email about once a month. Subscribers get a summary of shows, sales and recent paintings. In addition, I will occasionally clean my studio and offer studies and small paintings for sale. Link to Ambrose Art Journal Newsletter.
2. The Art of Daniel Ambrose is my blog news feed. Subscribers receive each blog post (such as this one) each time I publish. To join, enter your email address in the shaded box at the top right of this page. It’s a two-step process. You will receive an email verification and need to click on the link to verify. If you don’t get an email within a few minutes of signing up, check your spam folder.
