Daniel Ambrose, Sassy goat, egg temperaThe Crossnore Fine Arts Gallery is exhibiting new work by Daniel Ambrose  through the end of the month and will host a free public reception with the artist 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, June 23.

“His work in oil and egg tempera is exceptional, and we are elated that Daniel has chosen to showcase his work in the gallery to benefit the Crossnore children,” said Heidi Fisher, manager of the gallery.

The Crossnore Fine Arts Gallery is at 205 Johnson Lane on The Crossnore School campus, occupying the upstairs in Crossnore Weavers: A Working Museum. The gallery supports the school’s Stepping Stones program, which helps students transition from foster care to independent living. To learn more, visit or call 733-4305.
