Coming out of a movie theater several years ago, of habit I glanced up at the night sky. At that moment a shooting star appeared and made a long brilliant passage through the twilight. Unexpected gifts can be magical.

Appreciating the moment I looked around at the gathering crowd to see if anyone else saw it too. Everyone seemed oblivious to it. Then from somewhere off to the side a voice shouted out, “Did you see that!
