I’m in the mountains of North Carolina this month painting for a show at Crossnore Fine Arts Gallery.

Below are 3 plein air paintings from around the area and a large Florida piece I brought up with me. There are about 30 Florida and North Carolina paintings in the show, everything from small plein air studies to large oil paintings and exquisite egg temperas.

The reception is this Saturday, July 23, 5-7 pm. Crossnore Fine Arts Gallery, Crossnore, North Carolina. For more information call Heidi at 828-733-3144.

Proceeds from the art sales fund the Stepping Stones program for the children of Crossnore School, and as a non profit entity are partially tax deductible. You can learn more about the amazing, inspiring work these folks are doing for disadvantaged children here.

Later I will post the gallery collection on line. So if you can’t make the show, yet still interested in owning a painting, consider that every time you see it hanging on the wall, you’ll experience the joy of knowing you made an inspiring connection, a real difference in a child’s life. A beautiful painting helps a beautiful child. Art is a beautiful thing, art is love.

Hope to see you.

As always,

Daniel
